Anyone on here apply to CSUF for a MSN program?

Hi! I applied to one of the CSUF MSN programs for the Fall of 2019. Thank you for starting this thread! I’ve been searching high and low for posts past and present but have found so little.

Have you heard anything? I called on 3/4 and they told me they’d be contacting people in 1-2 weeks.

Nope, nothing! I called on 3/12 and was told that interview invites would be going out that week and early next week.

I know a couple of other nurses who applied to the same track as me and they haven’t heard anything either.

Im hoping to hear some good news on Monday.

Which MSN program did you apply for? I was just looking on the CSUF website and it looks like the women’s health track is the only one that requires interviews... All tracks are suppose to be notified of admission decisions by the end of March. I’m trying not to panic but I just feel like interview invites would have went out already...

I applied to the Women’s Health track. Debating when to call and check on the status of invites!

Yea, I applied to the Women’s Health Track too. I figure I’ll give them one more day and call if I don’t hear anything tomorrow.

Please keep me updated if you hear anything and I’ll let you know if I, or any of my friends who applied, hear back.

I was happy about the email yesterday... but sad that we have to wait longer haha. I’ve been looking for a thread for people that applied to the Womens health track! Nice to meet you guys ?

Yeah, I’m kind of nervous now because I arranged my March work schedule around having potential grad school interviews and I work the night before and night of the interview day! I’d be coming in from out of state too.

Welcome justinelynn! I was definitely a little bummed that it will be at least another month before decisions will be made but glad that we’re not completely in the dark anymore.

Abber, I’m also working the night before the interview but am off the night of. That’s going to be tough! Which state will you be coming from?

SoCal native but currently working in Oregon!
