Hi,
I've seen the other posts talking about how bad the job market is in California right now. However my husband is being transferred to the San Diego area and I have no choice in not moving.
I was wondering if I need to have a California license before applying and I can just state that I am in the process of endorsing my license, or if I have to wait till that's all settled before I can apply.
Also I will have been working a little less than a year as an RN by the time we move out there. I have the option of staying at my current job until my year is up. I just don't know if it will make that big of a deal? I don't want to be passed over for jobs that have a year experience requirement because I only have 10 months of experience.
Thanks for your help

I would complete the year. It can only help. You would also be making it easier for yourself by applying with a CA license already in hand. Don't give them a reason to pass you by. The same goes for anyone attempting to find work in a different state. JMO
