I doubt it is even on your record yet, "innocent until proven guilty" right? You have yet to have your day in court, and in court the charge could be reduced. or even dropped- haven't had a lot of speeding tickets but every one was reduced (to a lower speed or a non-moving violation).
Takes a LONG time to get CA license by endorsement. If your moving in two months, you need to apply ASAP because it takes about 4 months IME.

Hello,
I am an RN in Illinois and am going to be moving to CA in the next couple of months. I have not started my endorsement application yet, though I know it will take some time. I’m writing because JUST TODAY I got caught speeding, 74 in a 45 on a state highway in IL (I was being stupid and not thinking, many others were going the same speed, but I digress). The officer said he could have arrested me but chose not to—except now I will have to make a court appearance late next month, because going that speed is apparently a Class B misdemeanor. They did not revoke my driver’s license. I am just wondering if I should even bother applying for endorsement now, because I haven’t gone to court yet and it is still an open case/ticket? I am very worried because the CA licensing website says they take into consideration the amount of time lapsed for crimes, and this is just so current and recent. Does anyone have any experience like this? Thank you!
