Cali lpn moving to NY temporarily, how can I work

I just got my LPN here in California and I'm moving to NY for a year and I check NY bon to see how I can work there as an LPN but I am so confused! Can anyone help to explain it to me? I really want to start working soon and it will have to be there first. What is the total cost to get everything together? Thank you so much in advanced!

Go to the NY website and follow the instructions for getting a NY license. Unless getting a job in a federal facility, one must always get a license for the state that they move to. There are specific instructions for those with a compact license, but CA is not a compact state, so does not apply in this case.
