Hello Fellow RNs!
I came across a discovery on my BreEZe account today that has brought me great frustration and confusion! I wanted to see if anyone has had experience with this and can calm my nerves a bit!
I have only submitted 1 "RN Endorsement Application" for California. However, today when I logged on for the first time in a few weeks-
(you know what they say; a watched pot never issues you the piece of paper you need to be allowed to work and PAY RENT!! )
-there was another application under my name that was titled, "RN Endorsement w/ Temporary License" submitted YESTERDAY!!??
I haven't even logged into my BreEZe account (actually had to recover my password:whistling:) for at least 2.5 weeks. So why is there a new application? And why isn't my original application (submitted back in early February) titled the same? (it does not include the temporary license). I definitely paid the temp license fee. In fact, it only took them .10 seconds to cash my check, but takes them months to process our applications and then make it impossible for us to complain to them about it!?
Has anyone else experienced this and can tell me what this means? It looks like they messed up; forgot to include my temporary license request in my original application, and now have submitted a second application with my temporary license request included. BUT! Does that now mean that I will have to wait until the temporary processing time catches up and reaches March?
They have just finally started January applications and I was getting so excited! I cannot wait another 4 weeks on top of my 8 weeks I will have waited.
Anyone have any explanation for this?!
Would be greatly appreciated.

I came across your posts. I am an RN in Illinois and have applied for a license by endorsement and a temporary license using the fingerprint hard card on March 13.
My Breeze account is now looking the same as yours with the two different applications with two different dates.
Do you have any updates? How did this all work out for you?

I'm also curious to hear updates either of you have.
I'm finishing up in August in Colorado, and am debating whether to get a CO license and then endorse to CA or just start out in CA.

There's no point in getting a license in your home state unless you plan to work there. California will require the same things from you either way and take just as long to process your application either way.
