CA LVN trying to move to Canada

Hey everyone,

I've been working as an LVN in Los Angeles for a little over a year now, and with the political climate in the US only getting worse, was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to get a license transfer from California to the British Columbia. Also if anyone has any recent experience with the immigration process or advice on getting job offers, that would be appreciated as well.

The British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives regulates nursing practice in that province.

LPN is a 2 year diploma degree in Canada.

"If you complete your nursing program outside of Canada, you will need to apply for registration as an internationally educated nurse."
