I just received a call from the CA Licensing Office stating that my application with the CA Board is complete, except they are missing my transcript that has my sociology course. I replied with, "What sociology course? I didn't know that was a requirement." They said, "Yes, we need your nursing transcripts, which we have, and proof that you have passed a sociology course." I hung up to check my transcripts, and - of course - I have not taken Sociology. I called them back but had to leave a message as no one answered.
So now, my question to you... Since when is sociology a requirement?! My first Bachelors was in Psych so I have a million Psych classes and Cultural Anthropology - will either of these count? Sociology wasn't a prerequisite for my ABSN degree, only Lifespan Psychology - will that count? I'm debating whether I need to sprint down to the local JC and beg to register late for a sociology course.
Gosh, I hope I don't have to wait until MAY to take the N-CLEX. This bites.

Hello! Hoping you'll see this! Do you know if life-span psychology would count? The thing is, that's the only psychology class I've taken.
