C-diff Protocols?

I am looking for protocols for inmates with C-diff. Anything regarding housing, bathing, transportation, when to take them off of Isolation?

I have no idea about inmate nursing, but in our hospital we take patients off contact precautions when they have had no diarrhea for 24 hours. From a basic infection control stand point, I'd say they need their own cell and toilet and should be removed from the rest of the prison population until they are symptom-free. The cell they were using, plus everything in it needs to be thoroughly cleaned with bleach or another cleaner that kills c-diff (not alcohol based) during and after their stay.

Do y'all do a terminal clean before their taken off precautions?

Yes. We usually switch them to a new room if they are portable (can walk or be carried) and only bring the patient. Everything is left in the room to be cleaned.
