UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Hello, just checking in to see if anyone has gotten acceptance email? Or rejection? For Lvn to RN program Butte college in Oroville, CA

Hopefully this will help. I deferred my spot from fall and emailed the nursing office to see if I had missed an email. They replied to my email and said they haven't sent notifications for the traditional RN program and will by the 10th. 
 

I thought when you deferred your spot you're automatically in the next one if you wish?

Yes but they still have to send the acceptance email because it has all of the forms to submit, the deadlines and other important information.

My theory / suspicions is we won't get lottery results until the very last day on the emails. So october 10th. Because we have to wait on the results of the applicants who applied for  both RN programs. After they all respond their answers which is the 8th, they are going to redraw the lottery then announce results to everyone on the 10th.

Hi all! I can't believe they still haven't sent out results yet. I am assuming we will find out on the last day. Best of luck to everyone! I am literally counting down the days! I've never seen them send out this late before😩

Yes, last year it was october 1st. All past years since 2016, the first week of october was the latest. 

I blame the accelerated program.

I have no life outside of refreshing my inbox every 3 minutes..LOL

Right?! I also don't get why they leave the application open for so long! They give themselves more work to sort through things. I think we will find out Friday. 😟

I was fine last week because I really thought they would've sent them out by that time. This week I am anxious because this is crazy! Now I'm refreshing every couple of hours. It worried me and I started to think that maybe it went into junk or something. Ugh the wait is low key dreadful. So excited for the results yet scared at the same time.

I am on my 5th application. I think I said this in the previous post during the last application period LOL. But I went back to recount and this is for sure my 5th application period. Hopefully 5th application is the lucky application. Number 5 is a lucky number in Chinese belief so I'm holding on to that haha. What about you?

Nice! This only my 3rd application. You have a good chance of getting in! When I received my last rejection email I noticed it was subjected "2nd time applicants" so I asked if it was lottery why were we broken up by number of applications. She said most of their seats went to 5th time applicants. Good luck!

I have heard in the past that if you don't get in then on the 7th try it's automatic you will get in. I am not sure how true that is.
