Butte College ADN - Fall 2023

Hey Everyone! Just thought I'd make a thread for Butte College ADN Fall 2023 applicants. I am a first-time applicant to Butte College. I must admit that I was very naive when applying to nursing schools because when reading other threads, I had no idea that I would be looking at waiting for 6-7 semesters. I am still in shock. I wish everyone the best of luck, this is the 9th school on my list. I have received the "approved for inclusion in the March lottery" email. 

Congratulations to you! So happy for you! Do they make you retake science classes or your TEAS at 7 app cycles?

This was my 6th semester applying and I got into the program. It was a long 3 years of waiting but worth it in the end.

I'm waiting on the results for my sixth application. I should hopefully find out by 3/28 this month. My boyfriend got in on his sixth application, as well as his cousin (they got in to the same class and graduated Dec 2023), so I have high-hopes! I've heard of a lot of people getting in on their sixth and hopefully with the new accelerated program pulling CNA's from the original list, that'll make chances of getting in better?

I'm on application #6 too. Fingers crossed for all of us who have stuck it out through this long journey. Praying #6 is our lucky app.

It's usually the last week of the month. I've gotten all my emails around the 28th

The wait has me riddled with anxiety. Hoping that the accelerated program lightens the waitlist for the 2 year program!

Did anyone hear anything today? I haven't gotten an email. I'm not sure if they've sent them out on Fridays in the past?

Nothing! I did call today and they said they have until the 10th. I'm hoping we hear something tomorrow.
