How can you recover from being burnt out in lpn school. we are reaching the end of second semester on our way to the third and final. I am burnt out it seem the more i study the worse I do. Can anyone help me

when you find out will you let me know?

burn out is one of the biggest problems i faced with my first degree. it results from stress, not that you're dumb and can't retain any more information, just stress is preventing you from doing so. find yourself a good support system like friends for family you can talk with, somone who listens. that helps you ease some of your emotions. figure out what eases stress for you, some people exercise, some do yoga, crafts etc. you have to find time for yourself in the midst of all the studying. one trick i did through nursing school was on the day before a test study for a couple hours, this is the time that if something seems questionable to you, you look it up or call a friend to clarify a concept. after a couple hours do something for yourself that relieves stress, for me it was shopping or talking to a friend on the phone about things unrelated to school, allow an hour or two to relax, then just review and get a good nights sleep. stress relief is a hard thing to accomplish sometimes, but in my case it worked better for me.
