OK that's it. I'm DONE! I just slung my most regular customer from Vallejo (a junkie who knows the OPQRST algorithm for chest pain better than me.) who actually said that his pain radiated into his arm and jaw, while I stared at a perfect ECG and blood pressure!!! " AGHHH, UGH, ohhh," he cried. "It's a 10 out of 10. Hook me up with some pain medication." No. Sir, I am not going to give you morphine. Remember me! We just went through this my last shift. When was that? Oh yeah, YESTERDAY! And my reply was the same then. As it was the same the last 3 times you called this past week. You got me once the first time I ran on you about 4 months ago, when you slyly crept into town via some underground smack head sewage pipe. Where did you come from? My partner seems to think you floated here on a cloud full of methane and China white. I'm leaving that theory in the highly possible category. You fooled me once just like you fooled other medics. But the gig is up dude. The APB is out.

But, this guy did say something today that oddly made us bond. Are you ready? I will happily quote him. "I gots to get off these streets man." Ya'll are dry." "AMEN." I said. Then it hit me. I highly agree. I'm more burned out then this guy! Oh my god! Hand me an 18 gauge, I'll share 5 mg. with you. JUST KIDDING! not serious. That leads me to my question though.....
