After earning a BA in English at Lipscomb, I decided to earn my nursing degree. I earned by BSN at TSU. Really, there's not a bridge or other special program for anyone desiring a BSN after earning a degree in another discipline. The upside is that it only took me 3 years to earn the BSN (1 year for pre-reqs & 2 years in the program). The downside was that I had to take 2 semesters of US history since I'd studied Western Civ to earn my BA.
I worked at Vandy & couldn't afford them either. They helped me earn my nursing degree elsewhere, though, so it all worked out.
I believe that Dr. Jane Norman is now head of the BSN program. Chat with her...she might have useful insights to share.

Does anyone know of a BSN program at TSU that works with people who already have a Bachelors? I have looked online and just see the normal associate and 4 year Bach degree for Nursing?
I know Vanderbilt offer a bride but I am not sure of anywhere else. I can't afford Vandy
