Hi Everyone,
This is my first time posting on this forum but I have learned so many things/perspectives throughout the years in reading it...
So, I am currently a BSN RN with a MHA degree. Nursing was a second career for me and so I used to do administration prior. (Is there anyone that has put this combo to great use?!)
I am now looking to go back to school (I think I may be addicted!) and am a bit confused. Ideally, I want a balance between the administrative and clinical role. (Maybe one day open an NGO or be involved globally... thoughts in progress).
Should I go to DNP school (clinical track) and can always fall back on the MHA? Or get my MSN and then have my MSH MHA? Orr should I do DNP school (leadership track) , have my MHA, and can always work as an RN if I miss patients? I know it sounds crazy but I cannot fundamentally decide if I want to work one on one with patients everyday or rather make an impact from a "birds eye."
Hopefully that's not too confusing but I would truly appreciate some advice on this!! Thank you in advance and hope everyone is keeping safe.
