BSN abroad to CNA licensed to RN

Published

Hi Everyone! I finished my BSN degree in the Philippines last year, And just got here in California, LA AREA, couple of months ago. I heard I am allowed to challenge the CNA exam here? No I am not licensed in the Philippines. If theres anyone out there who has knowledge and kind heart, please help me and let me know what are the step by step process I should do to challenge the exam. I'm still working on my NCLEX and I need cheese so I could enroll myself in one of the expensive nursing review facilities here. lol Please Please Nurses! I really need answers so I could start doing it really soon! Thank you so much.

LVN is next to RN..there some difference in scope of work regards of that..so if I where you if you want to have a exp. just go first with LVN..you dont need to take a class if you are already a RN in the phil. just what i did..

--- like I said. I am not a board passer in the PI. I have no reason to take it so I decided not to waste my time and take it. well, I'll take your advise and I am willing to take in the NCLEX-PN exam. So how am I going to start? :)
