BScN graduating next year

Hi! I am a 3rd year nursing student from University of Ottawa. I want to move to Calgary soon after I graduate. I know that our school automatically register us for the CRNE and for RNAO when we get closer to the end of 4th year. But, how do I register for the CRNE and for CARNA if I am graduating from Ontario? :wink2:

I think the best is to take CRNE in Ontario and then transfer, what is possible once you're registered in Ontario. But that obviously will cost you 2 registration fees.

I think you can apply directly in Alberta if your nursing program is accepted by them, but what I heard here, currently the employment situation is not great, so not sure if this is a good idea.

If you look at the CARNA website there's a link for nurses from other provinces.
