You are apparently in the Ohio area....you might want to post over on the state forum for Ohio on allnurses:

Good luck!!

I am a current student at Bryant & Stratton, and my advice would be "DON'T DO IT!". Well over half of the students in my "cohort" have dropped out (some voluntarily, some not) and we're only in semester 3!!! So many people are $20,000 in debt and SOL.

It is nearly impossible to make it, there were only 5 people in the "graduating" cohort last semester , and NOT ONE passed the ATI at the end of the semester. Unfortunately, not passing the ATI means that you have to repeat the entire semester.

An awful lot of hoops to jump through for a school that's not even nationally accredited!

Hi, I just wanted to let you know how I feel about the program. I am a 3rd semester student and really love the program. The teachers are great and truly care about our success. Don't get me wrong it is very challenging, but so are all RN programs. I am 33 and the mother of 4. I am doing great in this program and have learned so much. If you need any advice or help w anything let me know. I have some books that Im done w too. I've been in your shoes and know what your going through. My advice, don't listen to all the negative. Most of those comments come from people who don't put the time needed into this program. We just became nationally accredited. The program is difficult, but totally posiible. Good luck! My e-mail is [email protected] if you have any questions.

Just want to let everyone know some things about the program. I went to Bryant and Stratton for nursing school and graduated Aug. 2008, I was a hard program but is definitely able to do, you just have to work hard, I have many friends who went to other nursing schools in the area too, all nursing programs are hard! Bryant and Stratton is a great school and so is the program. As goes with everything in life, there is the good and the bad. Also Bryant and Stratton is accredited by the Ohio Board of Nursing AND Nationally Accredited, all you have to go it go to the websites and they will prove that. I have been working for 6 months at the Cleveland Clinic and I love it, all it takes is hard work!
