It's official. Just received an email that had a copy of the letter that I will receive later but no alternate spot. I truly did enjoy this interview process. Best of luck to anyone that got in or an alternate spot.

Sorry to hear. Don’t give up. Trust me, it’s taking longer than I anticipated.

The is is my 2nd year applying, 2nd interview, and 2nd time of not getting in. I got 3 no interviews last year and 1 so far this year. I knew going in that it was very competitive.

I’ve applied to about 10 schools and have had two interviews, this is my first waitlist. I’m currently working on my grades as best I can.

Sorry to hear that. If I were you I'd reach out to the dean and ask what you could do differently/improve upon for a better shot next year. Who knows, could help you with other schools too when you get an interview.

as for the alternate, propofol was right, it seems like a couple get in off the waiting list each year.

Specializes in Critical Care, SRNA.

I interviewed and absolutely loved the faculty and meeting the current students. I second all that was said in previous comments. Bless Stacey! She personally called me to offer me the interview and answered all my questions when I was offered an alternate position!! Wish me luck on getting a real spot!

Specializes in ICU.

Anyone going to attend the Bryan DNAP virtual open house next week?
