bruise but not broken !! nclex for the 3rd time

today has been up and down for me . i hate when i feel this way because i have to reach down deep inside and find a way to make myself feel better about myself because it happen again for the 3rd time, i got my big package from the BON . i just scream!! not again, I cannot understand what i did that was so wrong . i study and put the effort in preparing and nothing !! how can this be with all my effort . i know more now, than i did when i was in nursing school. this doesn't add up from doing question and improving with my test taking anxiety i should of passed i put the effort and i dedicated time and money. my hold life is on hold once again and that is hard being a sigle parent of 4. what is the reason? does anybody knows. i have read alot of post from other repeated test takers and one thing holds true about us all the desire to become nurses. why else would we put ourselves through all this madness.( NCLEX). suzanne or any of the mediators, if you are reading this i will try your plan because kaplan didi not work for me . right now what i need is clarity, do i:nono: complete the quiz in the book or on the cd ? thank you

Sorry to hear you didn't make it again, sure you will get there soon. Just follow Suzanne's plan starting with 1st tip which is complete the quizzes at the end of each chapter and if score 75% or more go to next test if not read the chapter and re do the quiz. Only once that is complete them send Suzanne a pm

Whatever you do..do not give up hope. There are people that are still trying to get where you are (done w/ nursing school or even entrance into). Anxiety levels are high during testing because we want to pass on our 1st attempt but in reality, it takes some of us longer than others. Thats the hard part. I am doing Suzannes plan. It has helped me to focus. I plan to retake before Nov. I only use this one book and by doing that I am more structured too. You can make it, you just gotta put ur faith to work, trust and know that God will bring you thru.

Please hang in there and don't give up.:nono: I think Suzanne's plan is great and it is free. Try it, what can you loose? Take a break and get yourself together and start studying again. I will take it for the 3rd time in Nov. When I get dishearted about not passing I read the wonderful words and encouragement on this website. Don't give up.:nono:

I have to reapply again for the 4th time.:o thank you for support;) i wish there were more support for people in our situation ei schools, counsel and AAA meetings (HA!HA!). seriously i feel alone all my friends has passed and moved on with their careers, and i'm here still fighting to passed the BON thats sucks!!! I'm glad we have this outlet to come to for encouragement because this experience has really put me through all the levels of the grieving process R/T failing the BON X3:uhoh3::uhoh3::idea:

I am going to take test again for the fifth time in November! Don't give up! I did for four years and now I am back!!!

I know how you are feeling. I am also a single parent of 1 teenage daughter (14y.o.) Tried to pass the nclex several times using kaplan, ncsbn, mosby, saunders and other material, and it didn't work for me. Right now I am trying Suzanne's plan only. I've heard great testimonies with people using her plan and passed. Financially I am struggling, and I have to keep trying. I was thinking about working two jobs, but that might get in the way of my studying. So I will sacrifice again and try suzanne's plan. Planning to take the exam in dec. Hang in there, we can do it. We will succeed & have the victory in Jesus name.

ohhhh, i'm so touch upon reading this thread. :saint:

i proudly salute single parents who strives hard for their children. showing everybody that you're very tough and can stand firm from the storms of life. never gives up for every failure and never sheds tears in front of their children eventhough their heart is really wounded with hurt emotion & situation. to all of you here, god bless you & i would really pray for your success!

remember: there is a a light after darknesss!!! others made it so i believe that you can also pass that nclex exam. again, god bless & good luck!!
