Broward College starting Jan 2013

Have been hearing that BC will be requiring math prerequisite and may be dropping Chemistry pre-req for nursing program for students starting Jan 2013. Please post any specific information you have received from the school. I have emailed them but have not heard back. The people on the phone are not exactly sure what's going to happen.

Hi all...I am posting for the 1st time. Thanks for all the helpful reviews. I too saw my application in review. However I made 84 in the reading portion of my hesi and my heart just sunk to see they have changed the score to 85 and above :.( I still don't understand why everything shows green. I guess I will have my answer by the 15th. So for this I am really really confused and not hopeful anymore but good luck to u all and I guess I have to take another shot at it then reapply in nov...

Yes, they look at each individual section, not the overall score.

Yes, still the same. :nailbiting:. I called and they said that decisions have not been made yet, to keep checking our MYBC accounts and BC email for any updates. I don't think we will have a decision this week. Looks like closer to October 15.

Yes, they look at the each section and required minimum scores are: Reading Comprehension 85%; Grammar 80%; Vocabulary 80%; Math 80%; Anatomy & Physiology 80%.
