I am starting this forum for the Nursing Students starting this August at South Campus. Anyone received any new information regarding the program?

My orientation is July 10, 9 AM @ Central Campus...

Did you check out things in D2L? I think we have to read even more chapters than what is just in the ewelcome letter Hern. sent us.. confused and still can not find that head to toe sheet

Oh no I haven't yet. I wanted to get my books first before I look at D2L. Did you email the professor about the head to toe sheet?

Yes he said we will go over it in class so it is not something we have to have done before friday

I found the head to toe assessment sheet in d2l. If you click on content>theory> scroll down to clinical papers 1 it's under that subcategory as "Chart for physical assessment " :)

Just curious, does anyone know the lab hours and when it will open? Is anybody else sitting in class with eyes wide open like wow ? this is going to be a long fun ride

Hey if anyone wants a copy I got the Mosby's nursing skills videos on my flash drive if anyone wants to copy them. They're the same ones we've been watching in clinicals. I'm in the process of getting the physical assessment videos now anyways. Just bring a flash drive with you and I'll help you copy it over. Have fun studying girls and guys!!

Bit of advice, when checking for your own PMI in the mirror as practice, remember the mirror is backward lol spent 5 minutes wondering why I couldnt hear anything

Hey, I would love to get a copy of the physical assessment and skills videos if thats possible from you that is. Because we dont have that many lab hours and id rather be learning the steps at home and actually using my lab time to practice them instead of learning.

I feel the same way. Anyways no problem I have the first set of videos. I'm still waiting for the physical assessment one. Just meet up with me after class or something. Make sure to bring a flash drive with 3 GB of free space. You might need more space for the physical assessment but im not sure home much at the moment.
