Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.
what did nichole say about it? because the same happened to me
I emailed Nichole about this, but wanted to see if this happened to anyone else. Earlier today my points were updated to 11. I login not to long ago im back at 6? I find that a bit strange. Hope there isn't any issues with my classes.
she didn't say much because I contacted North campus health science and was working with one of the girls in there before nichole responded to my email. They are supposed to be looking into. north admission said that this may have happened to other students as well due to some new system the school is trying to use. So she said that she would try and get back in touch with me later today. The lady in North Health Science department said she didn't want to fix it again she wanted to figure out what was causing the issue first. so idk. Im kinda nervous.

damn i hope it doesn't affect us from anything. im getting nervous about that now

Hi guys! I noticed someone from North gave you guys some advice. I am from Central and let me tell you she is absolutely right! This program is tough...I cannot imagine what summer will be like, but I do recommend you start reading ahead on your Perry Potter books. Like she said above PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THOSE BOXES IN THE BOOKS. A lot of test questions seem to come out of there. But don't forget to READ READ READ and practice NCLEX questions!
I also recommend you guys start becoming familiar with the 12 cranial nerves, if you haven't already. For Return Demo a huge chunk of it is being able to perform a physical assessment, so know how to test cranial nerves. Obviously Broward wants it done a certain way but it doesn't hurt to check out some youtube videos on performing a physical assessment just so you become familiar. Also, if you're anxious and shy like I am... try to work on that now because it will hold you back if it is something you can't quite control yet. LEARN CRANIAL NERVES
Math....don't be afraid of math. If you are coming to Central our math instructor is awesome! However, I highly recommend you practice long division, multiplying, adding, subtracting (with/without decimals) WITHOUT a calculator!!! I know it seems silly but I was surprised how much I struggled because of this. Most people in class knew how to solve the problems, but we made silly mistakes on our basic math.
Good Luck!
she already said that it could because they run reports so it will show what the system has. The notes says that I have 11 points, but the system shows 6, but I'm pretty sure they have to make it reflect what we have. I hope is nothing to do with us retaking classes. As anyone else having this issue that me and sicilib is having? Sicilib did you try and contact someone?

I honestly believe it is a glitch in the system. but i haven't yet. I was going to email Nichole. I don't want this to ruin my chances of getting in.

thank you so much! Good luck with your process!

thank you for responding and give us some insight. I think I'm going to re-write my notes that I took for vital signs and Infection Prevention. I want to make sure I have everything from those boxes. When it comes to the boxes are you writing those down on paper, making flash cards? Its a lot of information. What do you use to practice your NCLEX questions? I actually seen an old you tube video from Broward doing a Head to toe assessment and the guy was saying all theses different nerves, and to my self i was like I hope we don't have to know all of that. For ex: using the pen light for the eyes checks certain nerves. Of course I'm not sure which ones. Will start to learn those. I'm reading Assessment now in the perry potter book.
