Hi I would like to apply for the generic May 2012 entry nursing program at Broward college. Any one else looking into applying for this program. Let's help each other out in this process. I know it's a bit early but I'm excited !!!:)

Finally got into the HCP class I needed to get in to. Does anybody know when they offer the HESI test? My counciler at the central campus is basically useless and isn't very helpful. Also, does anybody have any experience with applying for the scholarships for one of the hospitals?

Hi, Im also interesting in applying to the May/2012 program, have all the requiremets but Im missing the Health Core Career hours and the HESI. Can someone let me know:

Hi I have just been accepted into Broward's August 2011 class. I took the Health Core class at Sheridan Tech. Its about three weeks long, its online and cost $264. The good thing about taking it at sheridan is that it includes your CPR and all the ceu's (domestic violence...etc) certificates that are required to start the program. There are people on the August 2011 board who are now trying to get those things done. If you take the course at Broward you need to take the Heath Core class and the the ceu's seperately. Good luck. Oh yeah if you take the health core class at sheridan you do need to go in once to complete the CPR training.

hi guys if you go to the broward college nursing program website click on faq for the hesi and it gives you a list of where you can take the HESI and where to call im planning on taking it in September.

A) Testing Center at FAU Office of Testing and Evaluation Student Support Services

Go to website http://www.fau.edu/testing/

・ Read and follow all directions provided for scheduling and registering for the HESI Test

・ Select HESI and follow directions-links to register for HESI Test.

B) Testing Centers at Prometrics through Elsevier.

Hello all,

The HESI test is now being offered at BC for $65, you would need to contact the advisor/nursing dept for futher information. I saw the posting in my HCP class on this pass Monday.

I am also planning on applying for the May generic group, I have completed A&P1 and Lab and CHM I will be taking A&P 2 and Lab in the fall, I am doing the HCP course at the central campus from Aug to Oct.

My question is the May program for applicants with a valid LPN license, or is that a different program am confused. I hope someone can clarify it for me. I also notice that the website said not all campus has a May group, anyone knows which campus they are taking this group. :smackingf

central campus offer the hesi test for sixy dollars, i took mines there.

hi, i think thats the time a lpn can apply but i am super sure that if you are not a lpn you can apply for may, my sister isnt a lpn and she applied and got accepted for the may2011 class.

Do you know if the nursing program for may is at the central campus?? I'm a little confused. Some people have told me not to apply for the may program and wait til august.. but i'd rather just get it over with to be honest. Every paper I look at regarding nursing gives me different information! First, the nurses in my HCP class told me I didn't need to get the certificates done until after I get accepted into the program.. then something online said I needed to get them done before. If anybody has any clue what is going on ... just let me know :) that would be great.
