Broward College hopeful for May 2013 Nursing Program

Published

I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!

Pre-admission, just want to know campuses now!!! Does anyone know when/how we find that out?

Woohoo so excited for everyone!!!

FYI my registration date is still 3/18 so I guess that really didn't mean anything lol!

when do we get the email?

Still no email. Just want to get it so I can secure seat at the campus I want. Btw don't we have to take some classes before nursing starts in May? How do we go about signing up for those?

Hopefully the email will explain it all. There will be an orientation. We have to do background checks, drug test, immunizations, and take required CEUs like CPR, etc. and turn it all in to them organized according to procedures. We are pending admission until that is complete.

GOTTTTT THE EMAILLLL. Everyone check the inbox!!!! OMG what a dayyyyy!!!!

I got mine as well and replied. Orientation is 4/5 at 9 on Central Campus. It is my understanding from previous classes that the campus you have orientation has nothing to do with eventual campus selection.

Just got the email too! Orientation at Central Campus on April 5 at 1pm. Says we have to respond by March 11.

Correct. Campus selection depends on where you register for classes first semester.

I just confirmed. The letter allows several weeks to confirm.
