Orientation is Aug 20th...what does everyone's schedule look like? i'm in (reference #'s): 390139 Pharm, 395362 Math, 390211 Nur I, 390212 Nur I Lab, 390949 Nur II, and 390952 Nur II Lab

I was told we need to purchase a stethoscope for...does anyone know if there are specific requirements like color, brand, type?? Also do any current/former students have any recomendations for stethoscopes?

You can buy the one in the bookstore. I personally have a Littman. Just make sure it has a diaphragm and a bell. You won't need one the first week of school, so if you wait, you can ask the instructor the first day to be sure.

I was looking at the Littman's but didn't want to spend that much money then be told I couldn't use it. BC seems to have rules for just about everything :). Does it matter what color it is?

Well, at north, we can use them. I guess I can't be certain central will let you. I would ask on your first day just to be sure.

I should also add that at north, we didn't need them the first week, so I would check on that the first day for central as well.
