Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

How's the program going guys? Would you all still recommend going to BC nursing program?

We have one more test to go for process 1. Its been hard but doable. I would recommend the program bur warn anybody interested that they should be prepared to work hard and be stressed out. I swear I have never had such extreme up and down moods in my life and I've been through some stuff throughout the years. We have had quite a few people drip and about 10 did not pass maths so they're not allowed to go on to process 2.

I recommend North Campus. Its slot of work and reading with a side of stress..but cost effective so yes I do recommend the program at BC.

If you have a life and you are terrible at managing your time then perhaps you should go to another school. It's a lot of stress and a lot of reading. On your first day the teachers will let you know exactly how much work it is. If I could do this whole thing over I would go to a different school. If you already have an AA and can transfer to a university I would suggest doing that instead. Weigh your options carefully...don't just choose a school because it costs less. Choose a school where the instructors actually treat you like you are paying for your education

I had lots of negative feelings in the beginning...but after realizing that HARD WORK really does pay off I feel more positive and I really like it! I agree that it is an emotional rollercoaster, so ask me next week and my answer might be completely different! :-) All in all, I recommend BC North 100%!

I agree with u 100%. You just have to put in the time! Honestly I don't feel my life is over, you just have to learn to balance it. So far I love North Campus!
