Broward College August 2012

Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

I know right LOL Im so hype!!!! I am gonna email the Nursing admin and see what books we need to buy so i can get a head start on reading

So I am going to south...

I have Jackson for HSC1149, Hernandez for MTB1370 and Nursing Process1

Anyone else have the same professors????

I have R-S for MTB1370, WJ for HSC1149 and we all have the same for Nur Process I, for Lab I have LR at MHP on Wednesdays (don't think we're allowed to type out names of professors on here) (from Terms of Service "You are not allowed to share personal information about others. Do not share names where anyone could identify a person in any facility, school, or entity. Privacy is paramount to us.")

I think the book lists have all the supplies , https://www.broward.edu/bookstore/southorder.jsp then regular classes @ south campus

and they are definitely cheaper to buy online

So upset... just got a call from the Nursing Dept and they told me that i am not eligible to start in August since I took Nursing classes before at a different school. Supposedly Im supposed to take some TAEB test and go to LPN school... After I paid for EVERYTHING and registered for classes I receive this news... I am devistated :flamesonb:nono::cry:

I think that's an old book list. It says it's for term 3 2011-2012...

No girl its so not. I paid for EVERYTHING and they call me with this... I spoke with one of the health admission people and they are trying to see what is going on and what they can do but she told me it doesnt look good for me. I am so upset... I am praying that God makes whatever is trying to stop me from attending Nursing School is defeated. :-(

But if I have to do LPN school then I will do what I have to do. Im not gonna let this get in the way of the goals I have set out for myself.
