Broward College August 2011

Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?

I'm also an alternate. Not sure how it works either.

I just wrote an E-mail to BC asking some question... When I get a responds "littlegirlblue", I will tell you what they said!!! At least we got invited to orientation.... :)

Mine status changed earlier today to "pre-admission" and I also received my email!!! I am so excited to begin this journey...still kinda in shock!!!! See you guys on July 14th, WOOHOO!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D

Hi, I know that in the past you had to reply to the emails but I don't see anything in the email asking for a reply. Did I somehow skip over that? It just says that my admission is pending my attendance at the pre-admission session.

Its at the very end of the email.

My status also changed to altern. pending seat, and i got the email. When should we know that we definitely have a seat? after orientation?

I'm sure after orientation. Some people will defer, and some won't have the $ on time!! Pray, that everything will work out! It worked for me :)

It seems like orientation in at the South Campus for us all.

Guys don't get discourage, this is pre-admission, which mean people are not in/out until august. People still have to meet the drug screen requirements as well as background check. Have faith ;)
