Brookhaven nursing applicants for Spring 2014

I am applying to Brookhaven's nursing program to start in Spring 2014. Anyone else applying and if so, how far along are you in the process? I have all my prereq's done plus Micro, A&P II, Lifespan, Nursing Patho,and Pharmacology.

Specializes in NICU Nurse.
Are you going to do a pinning ceremony or participate in graduation? Does Brookhaven offer a graduation just for the Nursing school? I know I have a long way to go but I am looking forward to some type of celebration event.

Yes Brookhaven does have a pinning ceremony that is just for nurses. You are also invited to the regular graduation that coming May too. :)

I know right? I received an email today from the Brookhaven Nursing office confirming that it was my email address. My heart almost fell out my chest when I saw who it was from. So it looks like official points email goes out in a couple of days!!! Good luck to everyone!

I did as well and our interview invite will be the 18th correct?

As far as I know othe interview email will be the 18th. That's what the Nursing program information said on the website.

Wow!! 31.11! That's awesome! I was correct with mine as well. Only 27.8....not hopeful after hearing others! :(

I got my email too! I have 28.31 points. Shellebelle53, looks like you're at the top of the charts..congrats on your points. I've already prepared myself if I don't make it this time! I'll just keep applying until I get in! Who knows,it could be this time! Good luck to everyone!

They calculated mine to be what I thought which means they accepted my patho and micro, thank goodness! I submitted my substitution paperwork after the deadline so I would have understood if they didn't but they were super nice about it!

Are we sure about this notification on oct 18? I don't see anything about that date I just see admission notifications sent nov 18. I'm wondering if we will have longer to wait than we realized
