Brookhaven (DCCCD) Fall 2016

I know I'm a little early, but I'm anxious!!

Missed Spring '16 Deadline by ONE CLASS so I took the semester to get it together.

Anybody else prepping to start the application process in February?

Anybody else know the dates or have been to advising?? Talk to me people !!

If you knock it out over Wintermester you can, I'm taking APII over Winter Break then Hesi, then... scared to say, but I think I'm done!

I am applying for the Fall of 2016. I can't wait I already tried turning in the application but you can't turn it in until February 15. I'm applying with 26 points. I really hope that is enough.

I also know that March 11 they notify you of point status and March 24th of interview status and then interview and professional writing sample starts April 8. I'm super nervous. Who else is applying?

I'm taking my Hesi in a week from today. Any advice so that I can score high? Thank you.

The HESI is kind of like an SAT. The math is easy it's mostly fractions & you get a calculator on the screen. The anatomy part was the hardest. Just brush up on that. I scored a 91 on it. It only took an hour and a half for me to complete. Trust your gut and don't overthink it. Good luck! I'm applying with 29.91 points. I'm so ready to know about the interview status. I put my application in on the 15th.

Thanks Alyb1296! Are you folks ready or what?!

Just turned my app today :)

You're welcome! How'd you do? I can't wait until the 24th!

I did pretty good! I wonder how we can begin to prepare for this intense program.

Good! I'm not sure. There might be a link on the website to see what books you need for the first semester. That's the only thing I could think of to help prepare. 20 more days until we know if we got interviews!

It's taking forever!! Lol and I'm not sure how we can prepare...
