I'm actually in WMU's nursing program right now! I'm at the end of my second year, so I'll be finishing up next April. I would say it's definitely worth it to apply. It is very competitive, but there are several people in my cohort who transferred from community colleges. It is solely based on GPA so the cutoff really depends on the GPAs of all people applying for that particular semester. It's free to apply, so it's worth the attempt! I think it's really worth it to attend a BSN program right away if you can as it'll save you time and money in the future.
Best of luck to you!

Does anyone have any experience with Western Michigan's Nursing program? I'm not sure if I want to attend Western after my prerequisites are done or stay here at my community college for my associates - RN and then finish my bachelor's later. I have a 3.5 on my science classes and a 3.7 overall as of right now with one more semester to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
