Please accept my apology for not standing up over course of my 45 year nursing career, I fear I failed, but in my defense I was frequently working 60+ hours a week or more. Pardon me while I choke on my cup of Joe......, I'm reading morning emails, sitting here in my rocker with my poor 71 year old neuropathic feet propped up and resting my new right total shoulder. They've been this way for past 10+ years since they gave out (2012) putting in 36 straight hours on them in Level One trauma OR in Magnet hospital with an AARP certificate of recognition. Giving FREE care Treating illegal migrant who broke both legs. (Yup, we've been under assault for a long time).
It's heartbreaking to hear and see the sad state of affairs nurses and all Healthcare providers continue to be faced with.
Confused?Frustrated by the intricacies, inconsistencies and inefficiency of Nurse, MD, and all levels of licensing in the USA oh heck lets go global.... they all share the blame. The whole system is a corrupt mess.
If you address this dilemma with Ochams razor or route cause analysis there should be ONE GLOBAL standard of education, licensing and care, both access and delivery.
Hmmm, that was easy.
Oh heck, please forgive a 71 year old who has been used and abused by the Health care (Corruption) industry since 1978, why don't we add in health insurance, and retirement/savings plans.
We dropped the ball post WW2. The Greatest country and economy the globe has ever known and it's a shambles. I believe it's all part of a master plan of control and corruption. It's on purpose.
I was forced into early retirement by injury on job associated with caring for injured illegal migrant. Broken legs jumping fence.
Been doing a lot of thinking while spending way too much time on my buttocks. Not the retirement I planned.
But there you have it. My email also included a notice from CA Board of Nurses to sign up for classes on new TB strain coming across the border.
Sorry, can't continue, cant tell if I'm crying or laughing.
Will end by encouraging all Healthcare providers to make a stand, lock elbows and demand a total overhaul of the system.
