BRN CA Letter from Enforcement Unit

Published

I have a dismissed MIP on my background. I disclosed this information on my application and sent in all of my required paperwork to the BRN in March. I received a letter in the mail today from the BRN Enforcement Unit. The letter stated,

"All documents and letters should be mailed directly to the BRN, and addressed to my attention. Please include your file number on all correspondence that is sent to the board." And then it goes on to say " YOU DO NOT NEED TO RE-SUBMIT INFORMATION OR DOCUMENTS THAT YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY PROVIDED."

So I am unsure what to do. I have sent all of my information but not to "Attention enforcement unit". Should I re-send it to there or will they transfer my paperwork internally?

Has anyone had this happen to them?

Hi,

My first post on Allnurses: I see you had an MIP on your record. How did everything turn out with the CA BRN? I just hand delivered the rest of the letters, work review and certified court documents today. I'm nervous because they asked for my blood alcohol level. It wasn't a DUI and it was 8 years ago. A friend of mine stated the horror stories of probation for three years from dropped DUIs from years ago.

Im just not seeing much on MIP/MIC??? Any help or experience you can provide will be MUCH appreciated.

Thank you,

Ashley

Hi,

First post on Allnurses: did you hear anything back? How is the process going with the CA BRN given your MIP. I have an MIC(AZ version of MIP). It was 8 years ago and not a DUI but they still wanted letters of recommendation, work review and blood alcohol level. I hand delivered this today but am worried about the mess I've heard of them doing to past DUIs. All the probation etc. I hope they don't do this for MIPS!!

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Ashley
