British Adult Nurse Emmigrating to BC

Hi this is my first thread on this site so bear with me!

I am diploma trained adult nurse, qualified for 3 1/2 years with experience in MAU and currently in ICU. I realise i will be invited to sit the SEC once i have submitted an application to CRNBC and most likely will have to do top up courses...does anyone know cost of thses type of courses? And how long it took?

Could i work as a LPN?

Could i work as nursing aide?

I don't want to be sat at home whilst hubby out working?

Questions, Questions...Hope someone can help! :)

I doubt if you can work as a LPN unless you have meet the college of LPN requirements and sat LPN exam and passed. Nursing Aide will depend on their board. I know here in NS they have to go through a recognised course and pass exam.
