Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2019

Hello everyone! I am creating this forum in hopes to connect with other pre-nursing students who will be applying into BCC's program for fall of 2019! What are your grades and TEAS scores? Also, current/former students, do you have any advice or insight on the program?

Hflodin, I never received an application confirmation email..i took a picture of my completed application. I never thought of taking pharmacology. I wonder if it is offered over the summer? 2 more weeks of torture ??

Thanks for the heads up, I feel better that I didn't get an e-mail after it was sent. Phew!

As far as acceptance letters, this is worse than waiting until March, the unknown is driving us all bonkers.

Is the pharm course offered through bcc? I would take it in the summer if I could! I didn’t know we could take it before.

Yes, I needed an elective and was suggested a computer course of some sort. Although that would have been an easier "A" I was not trying to spend a semester and $$ doing an easy class when I could take something that would better prepare me for nursing. So, I went and just signed up for it. It's a hybrid course so it's been nice. Just have 4 face-to-face classes per semester. I am taking it with Vivian Demers who had amazing reviews. So far, so good! I suggest taking it with her if it is offered in the summer. It is a lot of dosage calculation and pharmacology basics. I took dosage calculations at CCRI previously and knew I would need a refresher. Something to look into, for sure.

I started checking a week after the applications were due. At this point I am over it. I wish you all luck and I can't wait to meet you guys (hopefully).

Hey guys! I have been stalking this forum long enough and finally created an account. I scored a 75 on the TEAS with a GPA of 3.68 (pre-admissionary classes), I also only applied for BCC traditional. I wish I had chosen e-health as my second option. I’m going crazy over here!

Should be any day now. Good luck to all of us and I hope we are all in this journey together??
