Probably didn't. Unless MAYBE, if you had a Fiscal hold, or some sorta transcript hold. That might keep your degree works from updating. Letters were mailed Friday.

If you don't have a hold, you can go to BCC log in, student services and check your unofficial transcript. That should be updated. Usually people do that if degree works won't load for some reason.

i literally have a 3.8 with the pre reqs.

@Desiraerose28 did you calculate the gpa correctly? For example, did you take into account chemistry and algebra, even if completed in high school? From what I have observed most of the people that got in had a 3.9x gpa on those prerequisite classes. That is intense but I could be wrong. I wish you the best and hope we get to meet each other this September!

I was waitlisted last year and did everything! Summer reading and dosage and calculations book as well as cpr, shots, physical and still didnt get in! If you are top 5 you are probably good! 250 qualified applicants range from gpa 3.0 and up! Waitlist shuts down when classes start! I am praying i am top 5 on waitlist at this point! I met with the dean pre applying and my gpa is a 3.7 and he said i should be good this year but i wasn’t apparently!?

@FallRN3 have you considered LPN and then bridging back to Bristol CC? I think you may still be able to apply at Diman (second option, if needed).

There were people who showed up in class in September that didn't have stuff done, like shots, physical, CPR. I believe that's why they just shut down the wait list. The flu shot is the only one that doesn't need to be done till Oct.

There is a lot of returning students this year. Some withdrew because of Clinical warnings or didn't get a 77 or both.

@Bdesa94 I applied to 3 other programs, 1 being an lpn program but will check into diman! Thank you for rooting for me!

@ebnel47 Thats pretty sad that ppl who made it in the program were not prepared yet i was waitlisted and had it all done! Ppl take things for granted! I may be a jerk for saying this but i think its crappy that one who fails out gets right back in again when there was a list of waitlisted ppl who should of had a chance to prove themselves!

I only know of one who got back in...there is a category list in the Nursing Handbook on who gets back in and who go's back through the whole process. Not everyone returning will get back in. I was saying earlier, that there were a lot of returnees. Some withdrew before the deadline, some failed...it is weird how they do it. Here it is....

Applicants must adhere to deadlines for submitting application for readmission to qualify for available spaces for NUR 102, 201, and 202. Applicants who do not meet deadlines will lose priority consideration for readmission.
Applicants who have been out of the BCC nursing program for three (3) years or less are considered for readmission. Applicants may be readmitted once to the program. Applicants will be prioritized per the criteria listed below. Category is designated as a letter.
Those who withdraw or fail on the same date and within the same category will be, prioritized according to nursing grade average, at time of exit, with highest grade having highest priority.
Applicants are considered for readmission as follows:

A. have completed the previous nursing course with a C+ (77%) grade or better and did not enroll in the next consecutive course and/or stepped out for military leave and/or has veteran’s status
B. withdrew from a nursing course with a C+ (77%) average or better, meeting clinical objectives and stepped out for military leave and/or has veteran’s status.
C. withdrew from a nursing course with a C+ (77%) average or better, meeting clinical objectives and stepped out for medical leave (with documentation)
D. have successfully completed the LPN-to-RN Bridge Course.
E. have successfully completed the LPN Challenge of Fundamentals of Nursing.
F. withdrew from a nursing course with a C+ (77%) average or better and were meeting the clinical objectives.
G. were unable to enroll in a nursing course because of failure to meet pre or co- requisites for the course

H. seek admission as a transfer student having attained a B- or better in all prior nursing course
I. withdrew from a nursing course before the date designated by the college for withdrawal as per college academic calendar, with a less than C average and meeting clinical objectives.
J. withdrew from nursing course with less than a C average meeting clinical objectives and stepped out for medical leave with documentation
K. failed with a C (<77%) or less grade but were meeting clinical objectives.
L. withdrew with a C+ (77%) average or better and had received a clinical warning during one previous course.
M. withdrew with a less than C+ (77%) average and had received a clinical warning during one previous course.
N. withdrew with a C+ (77%) average or better and were on clinical warning.
O. withdrew with a less than a C (<77%) average and were on clinical warning
P. withdrew with a C+ (77%) average or better and received clinical warnings in more than one
course.
Q. withdrew with less than a C (<77%) average and received clinical warnings in more than one course.
R. failed a nursing course with a C (<77%) grade and had received a clinical warning prior to semester end.
S. failed a nursing course with a C (<77%) grade and had received a clinical warning in one previous course.
T. failed a nursing course with a C (<77%) grade and received an unsatisfactory clinical grade at semester end.
Experience has shown that no system of categorization can cover every possible case. The faculty, therefore, reserves the right to categorize in a manner consistent with the present system, any case for which no category presently exists.
