Is anyone familiar with/enrolled in this program? If so, how competitive is admissions?
Also, I am thinking about completing fall semester at a diploma nursing program in CT and then transferring to BCC (if admitted). Do you think this is possible?
Thank You!

HI,
I have applied to BCC and I am still waiting to hear. It is very competitve. This is my third time applying. You need to have a very good gpa and they like you to have finished your science pre-req's.
If I can help in any other way let me know.

Hi:
I know you had inquired about RIC previously and found they have a long waitlist. I am not sure where you are located, but have you thought about either URI or UMass in Dartmouth? Since you have all of the prereqs as well as cognates and other requirements done and are a second degree candidate, the time you will spend waiting for admission to one of the community colleges, you may be able to get into one of the above. At this time, I think the wait is longer for the CC's than those two. I know it is frustrating. I wish you luck!

I have read a few posts that suggested that students buy nclex books before you get in the program to start reviewing/preparing for the nursing program @ BCC. Does anyone know which to get?
Is the program manageable with 2 small children? I have all my classes done and only have my nursing classes left.
Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
