Hi everyone!

Can anyone please explain how the rpn to rn bridging program works? So how many years it takes to bridge and then how many years of the bscn program you need to complete? I have a general idea but I want to be sure!:)

Thanks guys!

It's three full-time years.

Oh alright!! Thanks!! :)

So the actual bridging program itself would be a year?

Some programs do a separate bridge year then you have to reapply. Others don't. It depends on your program.

Hey everyone!!

I had more questions about the bridging. To bridge from PSW to PN at Mohawk is 1 year right? Then right after that you go straight into the PN program?

Also, you have to get accepted into the bridging program anywhere right? You don't just get in?

Yes you have to apply and get accepted. I'm not sure how the bridge year works, but that seems about right. Some places make you maintain certain marks and reapply after you have completed the transition year, but with some schools once you are accepted, you are accepted for the whole program.

Thanks so much!! :)
