i am a recent graduated (licensed) LPN. I have no work experience. I jumped straight into prereqs for RN. (Taking advice from friends and family to go back to school as soon as able.) I am wondering if I should apply for the bridge route without work experience. Should I go the generic route or try the bridge? I don't want to lag behind the other experienced LPNs in class though because I know they will have much more knowledge and be very much experienced than myself who has only been on a hospital floor in clinical.

most bridge programs here in Texas require you to have worked at least 6 months full time or 12 months part time. I would say work while you finish your prerequisite classes then apply. Thats what I did after taking a semester off from school.

Hi all,

Advice?
