Hey y'all! Has anyone else applied to Brenau's new ELMSN program for Fall 2021? I was wanting to make some friends beforehand ? I took the HESI and submitted it last week, so all my documents for the application are completed. Signed up for the virtual tour on the 15th too!

I’m glad you responded! I almost thought nobody would LOL, but I think as people get their acceptances they’ll start finding this thread.
I have been so excited to finally connect with some others too!! My instagram is @hopeforrester45 if y'all want to start connecting!

It’s so hard finding people since the program is so new! I met some really nice ladies when I took my HESI, but didn’t stay long enough to exchange information. Mine is (edited) if anyone wants to add me!
I sent both of you follow request

Hi everyone very new hear. Congratulations to all of you. I wanted to get a little insight on Brenau’s ELMSN program. Did you guys start yet? If so any how are the classes scheduled and/clinicals? Advisor Jeep’s stressing that I cannot work but for tuition reimbursement I need to work at least half time with the hospital I’m employed at. Any advice would be great.

Personally, I wouldn’t recommend working if your doing the full load of classes. A lot of the people who chose to keep working ended up dropping classes at midterm because they weren’t doing well. We don’t start clinicals until the second semester, so I can’t tell you anything about that. The lecture classes are in 3 hour blocks with a hybrid format except for NG 515 which is completely online, but it’s only 8 weeks. The labs are also 3 hours. You really have to dedicate a lot of time to understand the information. You have to know it well enough to apply it to a situation and think critically to chose the most correct answer. There are professors who aren’t that great, so it makes the classes twice as hard.
