@terrytee78, I can not believe that you do not get in with 90 on HESI. Never give up if you really want to get in. Last year I didn't get in either. Hope you can make it next time.

@Brad, you may contact the nursing department to see what is going on, if you can not get yours on Monday. Hopefully, your letter is on the way.

Thanks! You can imagine how anxious I am right now. It's frustrating and junk. But regardless of what happens, if I don't get in at Brcc I will still become a nurse. Of course I will be devastated but I will get over it.

I know!!! But I only took 2 pre reqs at brcc. Imma call up there to see what number I was on the list.

They won't tell you your rank. I asked and she said "it doesn't matter". Apparently it has caused some issues in the past when they told the students their ranks.

I would definitely be calling on Monday if you haven't gotten it by then. Sorry you didn't get in this time Terry. Keep trying! My plan B if I didn't make it was to apply to southern.

Yeah...BRCC has preference for their own students. A friend in my micro class made a 92 on her HESI, 4.0 GPA but didn't get in and when she asked, somebody told her it was because she didn't take any of the classes there and she would have to retake them to have a better chance of admission. Personally, there's no way in heck I would retake classes that I aced. It's unfortunate the way it works, but understandable seeing that they only have 60 spots a year.

Well my GPA and Hesi score is higher than a lot of the people that got accepted this year and I took all my classes at Brcc. Still waiting and hope I got in

I wouldnt be able to believe it if you didn't get in Brad. Your scores were competitive.

@Brad Nothing yet. The thing is, letters went out, acceptance and denial. So not getting a letter doesn't mean you aren't in; It means your letter is in the mail.

Brad - mail doesn't run today because it's a federal holiday. So.. hopefully tomorrow. I have a few items I have to return tomorrow to Ms. Connie. My GPA was actually a 3.5 not a 3.4.. So that's good. A friend of mine got denied also but the letter said that she didn't have the required classes needed to apply, but she has taken them all. It even listed them and she has taken them all. She is going up there tomorrow to see what happened.
