Brandman University ABSN Students

Hello Everyone.

Wanted to know if there were any Brandman students in the ABSN program that is Online/Hybrid. I saw San Diego has a program. I live in Riverside but work in LA area so I am curious as to how the classes play out. Is it workable for me to attend there. It doesn't really explain it on the website how the classes work.

Any help would be appreciated.

@619nurse I have straight As in all pre-reqs that I completed over the last 9 months, but only a 3.4 in my first bachelors degree. I was told the literacy courses would be waved because I already have a bachelors degree. I am hoping I only need to take the nursing courses but your application seems strong. Do you know how many people applied last term?

You should be good then! They are looking for those with A bachelors already it seems so they just have the nursing courses and clinicals. For me having my LVN doesn’t get my any extra points and I have my AA required courses but not a bachelor’s. That’s what he is advising me to do is get those core bachelor courses done if I can elsewhere and come in. It will all depends on how many people are applying in the same pool with me that already have a bachelor. Sorry I have no idea how many applied, that Info he did not give out.

Hey everyone...so I submitted all of my application requirements on time...I checked my application status today and it says something about a Trimester change. I emailed the admissions advisor to see what this meant...so I am waiting to hear back from him.

I know that COVID could play a huge part in this, but I will be sure to keep everyone updated.

Hi Everyone! I just applied to Fall 2020, I was wondering is it true that they're looking for students that already come with a Bachelors Degree and have most of their pre-reqs completed? I wonder how everyone's being ranked to getting admitted to the program!

I was accepted into the program yesterday and I start the nursing core classes in January 2021. I do not have a bachelors degree. I am currently a LVN. I have all my sciences completed with a 4.0. They want you to complete all the required bachelor courses for GE before you start the nursing core classes/clinicals. It is based off your current pre reqs. completed, references letters (quality) and a goal statement. Here is the link of how to apply. Good luck.

First of, congratulations on the acceptance!! Hopefully I can say the same in a couple months. But, I just wanted to ask if you by chance know much they take experience into consideration?
