I was just wondering about the white board they give you during NCLEX exam. I thought I read on PV website that you can NOT do any dumping on the board. Maybe I misread it but I know I read something bout dumping, does anyone have any info on this? Sometimes its good to write down some key ideas so that they are right in your face and you don't forget them. Would they consider that cheating of some sort? Just curious cause I read on here that someone did it while they took their exam.
Thanks a bunch.......

From my understanding, you just need to make sure you do not write anything on your whiteboard until the actual exam begins. I've ready plenty of posts where ppl wait for the first question to pop up and then they write lab values and other mnemonics on the whiteboard.
Oh ok that's cool cause things pop up in yo head at the strangest times LOL and you wana be able to capture that thought for future reference................just was wondering cause I know ppl have had their results put on hold for what seems like strange things to me.

Yes, as long as you wait until after the tutorial you are permitted to write information on your market board. I was so afraid of being accused of brain dumping that I only used the board for my math questions and I tallied my SATA, EKG, and math questions. But my test results are on hold right now anyway. The only reason I can think of is the palm vein scan took several attempts to read my hand. It is NOT a good feeling waiting this long...
yea I don't want any issues with anything!

I wrote some lab values that I was having difficulty recalling but I made sure that I don't start writing until the tutorial is done. I think I was already on the fifth question when I started writing down on the white board like my name with RN in the end. I didn't had any issues like "results on hold", so I can say from my experience, it is ok as long as you don't write anything during the tutorial. However, always refer to the rules during the test found in ncsbn website. Good luck everyone :-)
Well I guess it is ok to write on the white board, but not until you finish the tutorial........................
