Book - Baby Catcher: Chronicles of a Modern Midwife

Published

I just checked this out from the library and have already read through a third of it. It's such a good book and I have found myself crying and laughing from her stories. Has anyone else read this?

Does anyone have any personal favorites? I'm on the hunt for good reading material :)

Absolutely! It's a phenomenal read!

Also great reads are:

Lady's Hands, Lion's Heart: A Midwife's Saga, by Carol Leonard and Diary of a Midwife, by Juliana van Olphen-Fehr.

HIGHLY recommended!

I have that book on my bookshelf, read it and really enjoyed it.

A friend of mine also recommended The Midwife by Jennifer Worth. I haven't read it yet, but she said she couldn't put it down.

I always forget I can go to the library, lol. I wonder if school has anything, probably not. I might have to pay my fines at the local library, oops.

The Midwife was pretty good, interesting... But I am working in community health right now and I needed the leave from that, so I haven't finished the book yet. It's really cool reading different midwives ezperiences!
