:angryfire The seminar took place today... can i say ridiculous? How does a seminar take place in a regular classroom? what did they expect? i wonder why it didnt take place in the lecture room as in n404 or something. if anyone did attend today.. did you realize the answers to the questions that where asked? it was like ok if you cant get in "there's another institution." practically just saying okay thanks for the money you spent here but sorry you can't stay. And another thing that is absolutely ridiculous: they will admit students who enter as a freshman to become part of their pre-clinical but students who were already in the school investing their money in bmcc will not get accepted into the pre clinical if they finished all the required pre req's. they must finish the pre reqs as a liberal arts major and after that they will not be even considered until a semester after that! let me just say i've really had it with bmcc!

..see my post below. Kind of in the same vein. Most other schools at least tell you from the outset, "we have a waiting list". Not BMCC - they take your $$$ semester after semsester and then when get a 3.5 or a 3.6 or whatever the case may be..they say - sorry! You didnt get in!
How many people attended the seminar?
it was overly crowded.. to the point they had to ask students to leave b/c it would be a fire hazard to have students standing up..but this is because they had it in a regular classroom instead of a lecture hall.
