Definitely competitive. I read somewhere here that someone for Spring 2019 program applied to the day with a 3.9 PCI and got a 69 on Kaplan didn't get in. She reapplied for night in the fall I believe was the last time I checked.
@bookish_RN she told me high 70’s to get in, I was just wondering with my prerequisite gpa of 3.55 my overall is a 4.0, but my test score was a 85.

Hard to tell, last sem., someone who got a 68 on the test with a 4.0 got in for evening..
There was also someone who had a 4.0 GPA and 77 on the exam got into the day.. another who had a 4.0 GPA and 70 on Kaplan got in too.
@bookish_RN that’s true I guess it depends on the amount of ppl that pass the exam too, she also told me last semester that someone with a 3.36 got in for the evening, I have a 3.55 just praying this 85 on my exam helps me.

So it’s about a 50% acceptance rate (of students eligible to take the Kaplan)? I tried to calculate how many people were taking the test (from the sign-in sheet we checked during the first in-person meeting), vs the number of available seats, but, of course, don’t know any of the actual numbers.
The science and writing part for Kaplan was killer! But they just look at overall Kaplan score right? I only ask because I took the TEAS exam for SUNY Downstate but they look at each individual section - 80% minimum required for reading and math, and they prefer an 80% for science.
I’m applying for the day program. Good luck everyone!!
