Hi, this is the third thread, if you read the other threads kindly disregard it coz when I posted the earlier two threads I couldn't find it. This is about BLS and first aid training, I asked red cross about it but the problem is the location, it is difficult for me to go there. I came across a caregiver institute in Quezon City. They are offering the said training, will provide certification if I pass and has US standards. May I ask anyone who has enrolled at the said institute and is it ok there? 0 Likes
MOBITZ Specializes in ICU,PCU. 18 Posts Jun 23, 2006 I hope you dont mind me asking, but, is it required by your employer here in US? As far as I know, part of your orientation is to pass your BCLS and ACLS which is fully accredited by American Heart Association. I was a victim, I took ACLS before coming here, I was promised that the certificate that they will give us is accepted here in US, when I came here I have to repeat everything. I am not familiar with caregiver institute, but I am just informing you that, hospitals here in US provides CPR, BLS, AND ACLS training to their employees all year round, and it is free. think about it. 0 Likes
