I am writing this post less than two weeks from the end of my second year as a nursing student at Bloomsburg University. This second year was also my first in the clinical setting. I was so anxious to start, even though I shadowed nurses all through high school and was comfortable being in the hospital. My clinical instructor was fabulous at getting us out of our comfort zones, but I know I still have a long way to go in the confidence department. What suggestions do you have for a soon to be junior nursing student, about to tackle Adult Health 1 in the fall and Maternity/Peds in the spring? I want to learn as much as I can as a nursing student, build my confidence, and excel in all areas of nursing. Any advice or feedback would be appreciated!!
