Hi,
Bloomfield college pre-nursing courses are general Chemistry, A & P 1, A & P 2, Microbiology, Statistics, Eng Comp 1, Eng Comp 2, introduction to sociology, introduction to psychology, and nutrition.
TEAS 6 overall score proficient
Let me know if you need anything else
@kdesai3Does the school always pre register you, without telling you if you been accepted into the program?
You are going to be a transfer student? If that is the case you can talk with -----------------. he is the assistant director of admissions. If you read previous threads you know that normally the admissions deadline is May 1st, but with COVID 19 I don't know if they are going to extend the deadline.
In my case, I have spoken with ------------------- numerous times in the past few months. My GPA is solid and he just told me to retake my TEAS exam. I got a score of 71.3%.
@kdesai3Yes I’m a transferred and he emailed me stated TEAS exam are waived this year and I will be getting pre registered for classes but won’t know about acceptance to the program till June. Which is why I’m confused
@Ladyblack152 I haven't spoken with him since Bloomfield closed down a few weeks back. I didn't know that TEAS exam scores are waived this year. What is your GPA if you don't mind telling me?
@kdesai3To be honest I dnt knw.. I knw my science GPA is 3.0. But they won’t tell me what’s my actual GPA
@Ladyblack That is strange. Do you have access to your student portal? You can find your unofficial GPA there.
For overall GPA is 3.00, but for my prerequisites 3.2 GPA.
@kdesai3 no I don't have access to anything. I wouldn't know where to even look or check. I wasn't given much info
I'm sorry, a bit confused. So are you a current student at Bloomfield college?
The reason why I am asking is that to get into the program it is based on your prerequisites and TEAS exam.
@kdesai3 no I am not I applied for this fall. This Wednesday I will be speaking to an adviser regarding pre registering to classes. But due to the covid TEAS is waive so only going by prerequeisite
So don't worry at all! You'll be fine! I was stressed out for the past few weeks. Last year, I didn't get into the other programs I wanted to be accepted. I had to wait one whole year to try again. @Ladyblack152
