hello,
I have been having frequent urine infections and I have always had blood in the urine also. I do not have the normal symptom. I never know when I have the infections unless I go in to the doctor with some other problem and I would ask if I could be checked and I would always have one. I have had so many in the last year that they told me I needed to go see a urologist. I have gone and they said that I needed to have a catscan to see if I had bladder cancer. I do not have bladder cancer. I then just had a procedure done where they put a camera into the bladder and look around and that also come out fine. I still have blood in the urine and the urologist said that it is no big deal. I am not happy with his not to worry attidude. Am I over reacting?

this is not a medical advice bulletin board
this is a board for nurses and nurses-to-be to discuss primarily nursing issues. this is not a free medical advice board. please be aware that allnurses.com cannot be responsible for problems resulting from reliance on medical or nursing advice received here. if you have a medical problem, please seek attention from your health care provider."
sorry, but we are unable to give medical advice here. if you are unhappy with the answers from your care-giver, then perhaps you need to look for someone else.
i do not mean to sound callous with this, but you need to have confidence in your provider.
